All three bodies found in car on I-85 off-ramp ID'd | News
UNION CITY, Ga. -- The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office has identified the three bodies found in a silver Dodge parked on the side of an I-85 off-ramp Sunday morning. All three victims of an apparent triple homicide were residents of Montgomery, Alabama. Two were related.
Cheryl Colquitt-Thompson, 32, is the niece of Quinones King, 33. 43-year-old Rodney Cottrell may have been in a relationship with Thompson.
A cause of death was not released, though the autopsies have been completed. The medical examiner's office said there were no gunshot or stab wounds to the victims.
Union City Police continue to investigate the discovery of the car along the Flat Shoals Road exit ramp. They released very few details, saying only that they were discovered by a Union City Police officer on patrol around 5:45 am.
They interviewed the family members of the victims on Monday. One of the families declined to speak to 11Alive News outside the police station.
The GBI assisted with the crime scene investigation.
