Remembering a teen killed by police
UNION CITY, Ga. -- Friday night marks one year since a Union City teen was shot and killed by a member of the police force.
Ariston Waiters was shot twice after police say he fought for an officer's gun.
Waiters' family and friends say he was innocent and was shot in the back.
A grand jury weighed the evidence and decided not to pursue criminal charges against the officer, Luther Lewis. But a US attorney is investigating.
Friday, friends and family gather in Union City to remember Ariston.
