It's a pet-friendly weekend at the Renaissance Festival | Events

FAIRBURN, Ga. -- Dogs and cats will be welcomed to the Georgia Renaissance Festival this weekend.

The festival will host a pet costume contest and pet/owner lookalike contest during this special pet event.

The costume contest will be held at 12:30 p.m., while the lookalike contest will begin at 1:15 p.m. Both events will be held in the Joust Arena.

Admission is $5 per pet. Everyone interested in bringing animals to the festival must fill out a pet registration form and bring it with them, along with proof of rabies vaccination, a photo and a leash that's no more than six feet long.
