For $30 a month, you can choose a boy or girl to sponsor. The money goes toward food, clothing, education and other basic necessities for the child. In return, sponsors receive periodic photos and written updates.

Donations to Christian City's Graceland Thrift Shop are also greatly appreciated. Proceeds go toward educating the Christian City kids.

Christian City can always use plenty of the following items:

* Gift cards to Walmart, Target, Kroger and Publix
* Personal and dental hygiene products
* Healthy, kid-friendly cereals
* Paper towels, napkins and toilet paper
* Canned fruits, vegetables and pasta
* Peanut butter and jelly
* Snacks and drinks for school lunches
